Is My Solar Panel Still Working OK?

It's always a sunny day in Bakersfield! Setting up this 300 watt portable solar array for some short circuit testing. 

A short circuit test is a quick way to determine if any of your individual modules are starting to go bad. You can perform this test by isolating the modules one at a time and shorting them against a multimeter or power meter. Take care! Not all meters have this feature and some are easily damaged.  This array was in storage for a while, but when aligned together, we saw about equal currents of 2 amps for each of the 50 watt modules.
